Christmas Tree & a Concert

Every year my family goes tree hunting after Thanksgiving, Adrian and I decided not to get one in UT fearing that it wouldn't make the trip home in the back of the truck with the dogs (mostly Keani the beaver).


Here is our group before heading out! Adrian and I got a tree just down the street at the store, and I got it in and all decorated, I was so happy it was our most beautiful tree, then.......


... It fell over not even ten minuets after the last ornament went on!

After a couple of day and some help from Adrian and his 550 cord tying it to the wall here is the tree upright and put back together!


While we where tree hunting with my family Mclane found a little tree the he loved and wanted to take home. I think it is rather cute!

This last weekend a Friend of mine had a few tickets to the Trace Adkins and Martina McBride concert and they gave them to Adrian and I. We hadn't been to a concert in years. It was a lot of fun and we appreciated our friends for thinking of us!

I got the best shots I could of Trace Adkins but none of the ones I took of Martina worked out!

Happy Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we headed out to Utah to be with my family, We had a wonderful time, and it was great to get to see every one that was there.

The next day Grandma made Turkey noodle soup, with some help from Bostyn and Mclane.

After the noodles were in the pot Grandma made sugar cookie dough and the kids each traced and cut out cookies in the shape of their hand to make turkey cookies.

Mini vacation

This weekend Adrian had an extra day off so we decided to have a little mini vacation to Breckenridge Co. It is a beautiful area and we had such a fun time.

Breckenridge is a small ski town maybe one day they will get big enough to get a "W"

Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween this year, even though we were planning on going to Panguitch and couldn't, Mclane was rather bummed. but we did get to go with Amy, Lisa and their kids.

This year Mclane wanted to be Spider man so much that when we got his costume he wore it for two days till I put it away, I was afraid it wouldn't make it till Halloween.

Tavin made such a cute little Vampire I thought Mclanes old costume fit him perfict.

He hated getting in the costume but he let me paint his face with out a problem. ( his eye brows are still black two days later, oops)

Here is our group, It was so fun Amy made dalmatian costumes for all her kids and Lisa's kids then dressed herself us as Cruela Davil.

This was at our churches Trunk-or-treat, no mask so we get to see Mclanes handsome smile.

The Art Museum

This week my friend ,Bea, and I took the kids to an art museum down in Pueblo.

They have a section just for kids, they can create their own paintings, play on computers, read books, make all kinds of crafts, dress up, or even play mini putt putt.

They have four themes a year and right now it is the wild west.

The boys loved the statue out front. Bea's daughter and Mclanes "Girl friend" is in the back ground.

Mclane loved all the craft projects that there were to do, He was so proud he made this horse all by himself.

Painting! They made and painted western vests made out of paper bags but they wouldn't let me take a picture of them on.

Tavin had so much fun painting we stayed and painted for about a half hour!

Better later than never, I finally got the pictures from Tavin's Party on my computer.

So now every one can enjoy his birthday fun ....two months later.

Mclane loves Cake & Tav being silly!

Leaves!!!

For a few weeks Mclane has been asking to rake the leaves, but there were no leaves to rake.

Well after the ice storm that we had last week all the leaves fell off our tree and the boys had great time playing in them, and I had a good time taking pictures!

Now that they are all raked up Mclane is rather bummed because he thinks that fall is over.

I am trying to help him understand that just because the leaves are gone doesn't mean that fall is over! what a silly boy!

~Fall~

I love the fall. Spring and Summer are my favorite but I love all the seasons here are the reasons for loving fall!

I love the crisp air, the color of the leaves, all the colors of fall, and the smell in the air!

I miss Utah and the fall there, gathering wood with my family, and the Deer hunt madness that takes over my home town of Panguitch
My anniversary, we have been married for nine years this fall,
Oct. 6th to be exact!


Fall Conference. I love the hear the prophets and apostles talk to us. I love my religion and feel blessed to have it in my life.
I am a Mormon and belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later day Saints.
I know the Gospel and the book of Mormon are true. I know Jesus lives and loves us, and that Joseph Smith was true prophet in these later days!
