Pinewood durby!

We always like to start out our year with the Scout Pinewood durby.

This year both the boys got to participate and Tavin couldnt be more excited!

 Tavins car did really well and he got third place!

 Mclane didn't do as well this year and his car didn't place, but he had a lot of fun and was able to say that he did almost all the work himself, including using the band saw to cut out the design (with dads help)

Grandma Heywood

This year started out sad with the passing of Grandma Heywood, it was a blessing as well as sad. She was beyond ready to go home and be with Grandpa but we have will miss her sweet strong spirit here. Panguitch will seem a bit empty with out here there. 

 I am so grateful for all the time that I got the spend with her and that the boys were able to know he as well!
