Thanksgiving

This year we hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house. We had quite a house full but we had such a great time. Scott and Carol flew out and stayed a few day, G&G Fischer, Aunt Katie, and Aunt Meggie  drove over from Ut and were here just for Thanksgiving. And Cherie and her friend Dusty came over just for dinner! (if your counting that is 12 adults) ;)

 I didn't get to many pictures, Busy in the kitchen, but we did get a few fun ones!

Then next day after saying good my to my parents and sisters, We loaded up Scott, Carol, Adrian the boys and me and went sight seeing in Salida! We also had lunch and did a little antiquing. 

It said No parking not, No sitting!

At the park there they put up trees for people to decorate mostly for the memory of someone that has passed away. some of them were decorated in a really fun way~

We had a wonderful time with every one and loved getting to spend time out and about with G&G Spesshardt since we don't get to see them very often!

On Sunday a good friend of ours took our family pictures here are a few of my favorite!

Happy Halloween

This year we kept putting off carving pumpkins hoping that Dad would be able to be home to join in the fun, but sadly he was extra busy with work. So the boys and I carved our pumpkins the Sunday before Halloween.

Tavin and his cyclops pumpkin, He said he thought it looked like Mike Waouzskie from Monsters inc! 

Mclane designed and carved his pumpkin all by himself.

The boys halloween party this year was on halloween day, and the first year that they were at the same school, so I got to bounce back and forth both parties!

pumpkin patch

A couple of weeks ago while Adrian was home we wanted to go down to the pumpkin patch and corn maze in canon city. The boys love going there and this year we wanted to get there early enough to finish the scavenger hunt they do in the maze!

But first since the weather was nice and the leaves were off the tree we racked leaves and the boys played!

At the corn maze they had a "corn pit' kinda like a sand pit only filled with..you guessed it corn. The

 kids loved playing in it!

Declan wasn't to sure what he thought of it at first.

But after a bit he decided he really liked it!

And yes this year we were able to finish the scavenger hunt!!

After the corn maze we hopped on the tractor an rode out to the pumpkin patch

I didn't get any pictures of us picking out our pumpkins since we caught the last tractor ride out there and they were waiting for us to get back on so they could head back!

Yes I got one of the huge pumpkins! I love different pumpkins!

It was a wonderful fall day and we are making it a bit of a tradition to go to Diana's Pumpkin patch and then go to The Best Burger place and get some of the yummiest burgers!
