Soccer

Soccer season is in full swing here are a few pictures from the boys first game.

 Mclane is on a Y8 team (youth 8 and 9) this year they didn't have enough kids to make a Y7 team.

They are getting really good.

 This is Tavins first year on a competitive team. and he is so excited to be playing real games!

The great sand dunes

It had been a couple of years since we went down to the Great sand dunes and hiked so we decided to head down for the day.

After we spent most of the morning hiking the dunes we drove over to Zapatta falls which is across from the dunes!

 This is the view of dunes. After we were done hiking a big storm came in and rained on everyone still hiking. We got a sprinkled on a bit but not as bad and the dunes!

 We had to go inside the cave to see the actual falls

Tavins 5th Birthday

Happy Birthday Tavin!

I cant believe out little bug is 5!

For his birthday things were pretty low key just a normal day of school ( he did get to hand out cupcakes) then home and dinner out with Grandma Cherie!

(That is all he asked for for weeks thats how ;))

The next day was his party

But first he had a Dr appt and had to get two shots!

 It was a "Construction party"

 The easiest cake I have made yet!!
