Pumpkin carving

After looking at Erin's Blog I decided that we needed to get our pumpkins carved since we only had a week till halloween!

Tavin wanted to paint his, later he decided that he wanted to paint it all black and to have it carved like toothless from the movie 'How to train your Dragon'

Mclane painted the face that I carved out,

He didn't like the "guts" but he tried cleaning it out any way!

Mt Elbert

A few weeks ago Adrian along with some friends from church, when and hiked Mt. Elbert, the highest mountain peak in Colorado. Here are a few of his picts!

He said it was a neat experience, but not one that he is ready to do again any time soon. It was freezing at the top and a tough hike! 

Now he can say that he has hiked a fourteener!!

Happy 10 years!

Ten years ago I said "I do" to my best friend, what an adventure we have had since then!

A lot of ups, a few downs, two wonderful little boys, thee dogs, and a few cats, and a lot of deployments and I wouldn't change a thing!!! 

I cant wait to see what the next ten years bring!!
