Cookies

Cookies Who doesn't like home made cookies
Mclane Loves to help me make anything. So today we made cookies, he is the bestist helper in the kitchen.

He also thinks he is sneaky taking pinches of cookies dough.

Mclanes is the big one on the bottom
Before...
...After they look good enough to eat! Except..
Mclane doesn't like cooked cookies he likes mushy cookies ( cookie dough)
and Tavin slept through the whole thing.

Who doesn't like cookie dough
I know Dreako does!!

Our Decorated tree

The tree is in and up this is the before......
And after ta da all done!!
All decorated and nice I took this picture as soon as I finished decorating. It looks a bit different now that Tavin has had a minuet alone with it.

This is Mclanes little tree he was so proud to do most of the decorating himself.

Once again Tavin mostly destroyed the decorations all that is left is the lights and tinsel.

"and the stockings were hung..." I am excited to be able to hang our stockings over the fire as a kid I always wanted a mantel to hang my stocking on.

OUR TREE!

This year we had to just get a tree from the local grocery store. not as much fun as going out in the woods and looking with family but we were limited on time.

Here is Mclanes tree he found it and was so excited to see a tree his size so we let him get one for he and Tavin.

I will post more pictures of the trees decorated later.

Daddys Home!!!

"I'm so glad when daddy comes home, Glad as I can be.." That was the song going through my head the whole time Adrian was home.
He and Mclane had so much fun playing pirates, solders, and trucks all the fun stuff mom is not good at.
Adrian made the boys pirate hats Mclane loved his, Tavin not so much.

Mclane had so much fun with his dad home, and it didn't take Tavin to long to warm up to him either. Once Clane started to play with daddy Tavin wanted to, too!

Sorry I don't have more pictures of the boys playing I spent more time just enjoying being a family again. Cant wait till it is for good! Love you honey miss you!

New friends

We have made some new friends here in the springs, and not the typical friends that you might think. A few nights ago we came home from shopping and there were these two deer in our yard the boys were asleep and I thought that was to bad Maclane would have loved to see them.
Then last night they were back only across the street in our nabors yard I thought to get the camera but figured they would be gone. Well this morning we open the door and her they are. So I grabbed the camera and hoped for the best.
We will call this one floppy because his antler is broken.
I think that they have to be very used to people they almost got close enough to touch.

Mclane kept saying " come here boy, come on "

This is floppy's girl we will call her daisy. (I don't know why)

This also explains some noises that I heard a few nights ago. and the marks on the fence that were to high for a dog and didn't look like dog scratches any way. I think it was the deer rubbing is horn on the fence!

The move and the new house!

Well we made the move we are finally here, and what a experience it was.
Mom and I went to get the Budget truck on the 5th and of course it was snowing. but luckily it wasn't bad and we had nice weather to load and unload and the long drive to Colorado we did hit a couple of bad spots on the pass but nothing to worry about. Things went rather smooth (besides me falling off of the moving truck funny stuff)

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the packing, moving or unloading.

I do have some of the new house and what I have done to make it a home.
Here it is our new house not much but it is nice and is bigger, and close to work for Adrian

This is the lower family room, I know I should have cleaned it before the picture.

Here is the front living room sorry the picture is so dark but the wall we painted a dark green

This is the other side of the room and the front door

This is the dinning room and red is a nice color but not easy to paint with, just ask Katie

This is Mclanes room with his "big boy bed" he has been so excited for.

And Tavins room they both need some paint and other things but that will wait till Adrian gets home.

Here are the boys enjoying there new yard it is big enough for them and the dog to run and play and I don't have to worry....to much!

This is our view not to bad it isn't as good as mom and dads but nothing is. but at sunset when they look out there back door and I look out mine we are looking at each other fun hu!

Just a different view to the side.

Thanks to every one for all the help to get moved and settled I know it wasn't fun but it meant a lot. Thanks Katie for crack'n the whip and helping me get settled and staying up late painting walls :)

Happy Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

This is our gang. We had so much fun this year the only one we were missing was our nephew Alex, maybe next year.
Everyone was so cute that I included pictures of every one!
Mclane is our little ghost this year, he wanted to be a ghost last year but I all ready had his costume. He has been so excited for Halloween night, he has asked me every day if it was time to go trick-r-treating.
Little Tavin was the cutest bat we ever saw. He didn't want to get dressed but when he saw the attention he got he was happy he had fun getting candy and trotting down the street.

Here is Drew he went as the Grim Reaper his mask was scary it looked like blood was running down his face, gave Great Grandma Heywood a fright!
Our little Bosty went as her favorite person in the whole world Areal the little mermaid. She loved her costume especially her wig, she was ready an hour and a half before it was time to go Trick-R-Treating
Here is little Jaxton as Ariel's side kick Sebastian he was our star every one wanted to see his costume.

Camri went as the devil, she was the cutest little devil.
Here is Mclane and Alyssa I never got a good picture of Alyssa but she went as a mummy. It took Grandma, her mom, and I two days of gluing strips of fabric onto a white sweat shirt and pants.

Camping

This weekend my parents decided that instead of spending the long weekend doing the same old thing, they decided to hook up the camp trailer and go up Ipsons crossing and camp. So we got the four wheelers and headed up. The boys and I didn't stay the night it was just a little to cold for that this time of year.

Camping is one of my favorite things to do, and the Gorge it the best place to camp at. I love to be with my family we always have fun together.

While camping I realised how I much I am like my mom when a kid takes a fall and it would make a good picture take it!!

Here is Dreako with his orange on keeping safe. Since it was also the deer hunt this week.

Mclane loves to be out in the woods his favorite thing is to "help" Grandpa look for wood.

For Drew's birthday two weeks ago he got a twenty-two and brought it up for target practice.

My boys love camping mostly the food, and who wouldn't my moms Dutch oven is the best!!

Here is Tavin loving on his mommy.

One of my favorite things about camping is every night when we got home the boys were so worn out that they fell right to sleep and slept all night long.
