4th of July!!!!

I love the 4th of July celebration in Panguitch! It's not big or anything but it is special because all the kids get to be part of the parade. I loved decorating my bike and later my horse to ride in the parade, and now my kids get to do it, with there cousins!!

Declan helping decorate
Erin "testing out" Bostyn's bike!

After the parade there are usually kiddy races put on by the senior class, but this year it dint look like it was going to happen so we put on our own kiddy races.
While Steve and Adrian set up an obstacle course the kids fed the horses some scraps that Grandma had. The course started out bouncing across the trampoline, down the slide under the swings, across a balance beam, then through some tires! All the kids did great and had a lot of fun and so did the adults watching!

Of course it isn't a 4th of july celebration with out the little britches rodeo so that evening we were off the the rodeo!
Mclane and Tavin did the mutton bustin, and critter chases again this year, and did really well they each got prize money, Mclane got third place in the mutton bustin. This was his last year ridding sheep Next year he will move up to steers!  Tavin caught a rabbit and again sadly we had to give him away, but next year I promised that we would keep what is caught!

It was a wonderful 4th and this was the first time Adrian has been with us for quite a while and that made it even better!!
