The flu, a new oven, and a bird house

This last week has been one that I could forget and be alright with.

It started out Monday with Tavin getting the flu at first we thought it had something to do with some bad milk but as a fever and more vomiting we deducted it was the flu. So I spent the day on the couch with Tavin either sleeping or throwing up, luckily for Mclane and I Adrian had the day off to help.

Tuesday Tavin was feeling a bit better just a bit tired.On Wednesday Mclane got sick and as far as boys not being good at being sick he is the worst. That was the beginning of the bad day Tavin started not feeling well again (the dreaded runny poos) Tuesday I was having my new oven delivered. Our old stove pooped out on me the week before, we ordered a gas stove seeing as when we bought the house we were told it was a gas/electric hook up. well I found out the hard way when they came to deliver and hook up my new oven it was only electric!! all while my child is throwing up in a bucket down stairs.

Well this is the new oven, we had a guy come the next day and hook up the gas line (again while I had a sick child down stairs) and the oven guys came back the next day to hook up the oven. and yes you guessed it while they were hooking it up Tavin threw up Right in front of them!!

On Friday Mclane and Tavin were feeling much better and Mclane remembered that he wanted to build a bird house with his dad. They used the old fencing that Dreako knocked down.
As you can see Adrian did most of the building.

Mclane got to pick out the paint and paint it himself. Don't you just love the color?

He made sure that Adrian and I didn't help with the painting. He would hold up his hand and say " this is my bird house I don't need help".

This is the finished product, Mclane got board after about 20 minuets so Adrian finished it.

So far we haven't seen any birds I think it has something to do with the color, we even added some seed to entice the birds.

I had to add this picture of Adrian, I got an apron for cutting the boys hair but Mclane only likes Adrian to cut his hair so he gets to wear my purple apron :~)
