Summer fun

Our summers are supper fun and super busy and this summer was no different. We spent lots of time at the pool, going on hikes, and at the zoo with friends before we headed to Utah for lots of fun with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins!

This summer Adrian and I took a weekend and went to Vegas while Mom and dad graciously watch the boys for us! It was a wonderful respite from everyday life and a great chance for the two us to remember why we got married in the first place ;) It was nice to just sit and relax, we got to go see a show and try paddle boarding, which I have never done but found that I love it!

Summer Base Ball

Even though las season was a bit of a flop with base ball Mclane wanted to try it again but with a different coach. His scout master agreed to coach a team and we were so happy for Mclane to be on his team. The season stared out well and they won their first two games but lost their third. unfourtnaly we will miss two games while we are in Utah, but we are excited for a great season!
**Update Because of Mclanes broken leg the tree games he played were his only games this year! Fingers crossed for a better season next year**

Happy Birthday Mclane!

Happy Birthday to our sweet Mclane. I cant believe that he is 9 years old already!
As always we have Mclanes party a couple of weeks early before all his friends leave on vacations or are busy with summer activities!
This year he wanted a Hero factory cake and party!
we had a great turnout and he had a lot of fun with his friends!

For his actual birthday dad had to be out of town but we got a fun surprise when Uncle Dave and Auntie Terell stopped by for a quick over night visit! They were able to have birthday doughnuts and sing happy birthday before they had to head out!
