Kindergarten graduation

Today my little Tav graduated from kindergarten!
I cant believe that he will be a first grader next year, where did the time go!
Tavin has learned a lot this year, math, reading, and how to socialize better with kids his own age! He is such a smart little guy and we couldn't be prouder of him!

These are kinda blurry I was trying to get closer when they called his name!

One proud momma, Adrian was so upset that he had to miss it.
Tavin and his wonderful teacher Mrs. Bray she is so much fun and just loved having our quirky little guy in her class!

A couple of the songs they sang!

Happy Birthday Shanon!

For my birthday this year I was spoiled we celebrated it over two days. Adrian was supposed to be on a job Tuesday so we did my birthday dinner, presents, and cake Monday evening. TUrns out Adrian didn't have to leave till Wednesday morning so Tuesday he took me out to breakfast after we dropped the boys off at school!
For my cake I told Adrian I wanted a Boston cream pie and he had to go to two stores to find me one, and then he put a 25 candle on it for my seventh 25th birthday! ;)

The boys decided to get creative with my present this year and played a fun trick on me. They decided to hide my gift in a box of legos and I had to dig through the legos to find a Hershey bar and a box of earrings!

My wonderful husband got me a purse I had seen and really liked at a store earlier in the month!
Also thank you for all the cards and birthday wishes from all my friends and family, It made it a wonderful seventh 25th birthday!

The end of Spring soccer

This weekend was Tavins final soccer game and soccer party.
Tavin really grew in his soccer playing this year, we were continually amazed at how well he did every game. His ball handling skills are really good and for being the smallest kid on the teak he can out run all of them. In there final game he scored four goals, three in a row!
We were lucky to get Coach Jeremy Johnson again he is a fun coach and works great with the kids.

Scout cross over

Tonight was Mclanes cub scout crossover.
His den had a bit of a rough year with the den leader moving and non of the parents being able to fully take over, but we did our best the the boys never got discouraged and we parents blundered through the year.
Mclane has become quite the little scout and has grown and learned a lot!

Taking off the wolf bandana

crossing over to become a bear scout

Tonight we (Tavin) got a surprise.
There were three younger brothers the would be going into tiger scouts next year, so the cub master decided it would be fu the let them crossover too!
Getting ready, and super excited, to crossover

 Getting his bandana

My handsome scout, I cant believe how big my boys are getting!

Laundry room re-do!

I had seen a blog where a lady gave her laundry room a makeover, and I thought to myself I never would have thought to do that, what a good idea!
So after months of talking about it I finally got around to doing it this week!
~Before~

Amazing what a bit of paint, new shelves, a smashed finger, bruised palm, several splinters and two days can do for a small space!

Birds at the zoo!

At our zoo we have a new elephant enclosure and some new lions, se we decided to go see them the other day. Much to our dismay the elephants and lions were not our because the zoo keepers were getting ready for the official opening of the new enclosures so the animals were not there, SO we went on the see the rest of the zoo.
The boys in the new airplane by the elephants.

Once again Declan saw and went after the peacocks, he got really close to this one and almost touched it!

At the zoo there is a "buggy buddy house" which is a building full of little birds. Mclane always wants to go in there and see them and feed them, we usually don't go because I am not a fan of the little birds. But he was in luck because Adrian was with us so they went in. I stayed out with Declan, but after just a few min I had to go in with him.

It was fun watching the boys try to get he birds on their little sticks and I was able to keep my cool surrounded by all the birds even after I had one little bird insist my shoe looked like something to play with!

More birds for Declan to chase, he was in heaven chasing all the little birds and I'd had enough and had to go when a bird landed on my head!
