January is Pinewood derby time for anyone with a cub scout (with three boys that will be us for the foreseeable future)
This year Mclane and Adrian took their pinewood derby making very serious, unfortunately due to Adrian's work schedule they only had a couple of weekends to work on it and then last min Adrian didn't even get to go to the derby which made him very sad!
For some reason I had in my head it started at 6 when it started at 5:30 so we were a bit late and made it just in time for the Tiger scouts to start their races.
This is Mclanes car you cant tell from this picture but it had a scaly paint job and fangs on the front.
Mclane was first up and lost his first heat
Good news is he won the next two and lost the fourth one which put him in third place!
Some of the competitions cars Adrian wanted to know how each car did. He is already thinking for next year, when he will have two cars to do!
Third place gets a trophie and he was super excited!
I feel bad I didn't get any pictures of Tavin cheering for his brother he was super excited and proud of his big brother!
