New Car

Adrain and I have been talking about getting a new car for a while but we didn't want the car payments and I LOVED my Jeep, but it was starting to have some serous problems and so we decided to trade it in while we could still get a good deal for it!

Last week after a lot of research and a lot of looking on line and even more talking about it we finally decided on a 2011 dodge Durango
 isn't it perty
Lots of buttons that will take me a while to figure out
But most important it has lots of room for everyone!

A new school year

Its seems like our summer just flew by and now we are back to school!
But before school started adrian and the boys wanted to "camp out" on the trampoline!

To save them from the bugs Adrian got out his one person tent things that he had on deployments
Tav ended up sleeping with Adrain because it got a bit cold but they had a great time and wanted to do it again!
Thursday was the first day of school and the boys couldn't have been more excited!

Poses and showing off the new backpacks!

Tavin in line for his first day of Kindergarten, he really didn't want me to stand there or come in with him. He kept saying he was a big kid now!

AFR Family day

On Aug 4th Adrian had his Reserve duty and it was the annual AF Reserve Family day
This year they had a "deployment check list" for the kids to do. They went around to booths and had to do things and get their lists marked to be deployment ready!

 Getting their uniformes

 Next comes the guns

 Kevlar and helmets
 Gear check
 Flight helmets
And a coin from the Squadron Commander and they are good to go!

 Playing in the trucks

 Going inside a couple C130's
At the picnic they had this neat trampoline and bungie set up and the boys were eager to try it!
 First up was Mclane
 Going really high
 Trying a flip
He did really good and got several flips and went really hight
 Next up was little Tavie
 No flips for him
I couldn't believe how high he went and didn't get scared or scream
Next I got the bright idea to go myself! The boys made it look like so much fun!
I seriously thought I was going to die!
After I got over the dying issue I had some fun and tried a flip...they are much harder than you think!
Next on the list of "want to do's" was the rock wall
Mclane made it all the way to the top!
I have no idea why the K-9 unit decided to get in their attack training gear and let kids hit them with bats but they did and Tavin had a blast doing it!

Justin/Air space museum

Even though we don't live close to my family, living here has given me the opportunity to have three of my siblings travel out with me and get a 10 hour visit. This time Justin came out with me and while he was here we took him out to the Air and Space museum on Peterson AFB.

 These two crack me up

It was a lot of fun to have my big brother here to visit for a day
Thanks Justin!

July 24th

This has been the first 'Pioneer days' that the boys and I have been to in Panguitch since we moved four year ago and I have missed it!
This year we talked/caroused/bullied grandma into being on a float.
She is the oldest resident in Panguitch and we thought it would be fun to have her in the parade.
She was ok with it until the city wanted to make her the grand marshal, after that she was out, but we got a couple of her friends to be on with her and then she was willing to do it!

The three of them on the float
Grandma 96 in the middle, Merrill on the left 94 and Keith on the right 95
Panguitches three oldest citizens!

 I love my Grandma!!
The kidos waiting for the parade, and candy!!
 Grandmas float
 Alyssa's dance team
I loved this float, missionary work on the moon!

 Dad on the veterans float
Camri was on the other side of Dads float

 One handsome young man
(as long as he doesnt' know you are taking a picture)
The best part of the parade is the end when the fire trucks spray everyone
All the grand kids ( minus D who was napping) after the parade
Erin and I working on the float!
I'm glad the boys and I got to stay longer this year to be here for the 24th and spend mort time with family!
