 Tavin learned how to ride with out training wheels and he is doing great at it!

Mclane

A few weeks ago we had Mclane tested for Dyslexia. I had been seeing some signs for a while and along with a mothers intuition we took him in and he tested positive for Dyslexia and ADD. 

It has meant some changes for us but in a positive way.

Mclane had been feeling a little down like he was falling behind his class mates, and now feels much better about himself. We go to tutoring twice a week to help him learn a different method to reading and writing. I scanned some samples of his hand writing, he is learning cursive to help with letters and which way they go.

I had been nervous that this might make him more self conscious but it has been quite the opposite, after two weeks of tutoring he has been doing much better in school and received his first 100% on his spelling test!!

 He has a great teacher who has done anything she can to help Mclane out, I got this note in his green tutoring folder and though I would share it!

Yesterday Tavin was getting Declan to laugh so hard, then Tavin would laugh even more!

They aren't laughing as much once I got the camera on them, but isn't that the way it always goes!

This face always makes me smile!

I've been trying to record Declan rolling over on his own and this was the best I could get.

Hair cut!

After the weekend at my parents and several "Hitler combover" comments I decided it was time to give D a better "real" hair cut, Not just the little trimming on the sides that I had done

Isn't he so stinking cute!!

All done and so handsome! 

It's sad that cutting a 4 month olds hair is a lot easier than cutting my 4 yr olds hair I don't have to hear are you done yet every 5 seconds! :)

Weekend visit

A couple of weeks ago the boys and I had planned to go to Panguitch for a long weekend.  Dad had flown out so I would have some help driving. Well an unexpected storm hit and kept us from travailing, and dad got to spend a week in Colorado!
