Lost teeth!

Mclanes two bottom teeth have been loose for a while now, and yesterday (with a little help from Tavin's foot to his face) his first tooth almost fell out!
You can see how the kick from Tavin moved his tooth over and when I went to wiggle it, it mostly fell out!

You cant see but his other tooth was already coming in behind his baby tooth

His other tooth was really loose too but he said it hurt to much to let me pull it. So when Adrian got home he convinced Mclane that it had to come out too and they could do it a really cool way!
I dont think he was convinced!
We tried the bow and arrow but the sting cam off the bow so we just had to grab the string and pull!
I felt bad because the root on the second tooth was almost twice as long and on the first tooth and that is why it was hurting him so much!
He now has no reason to feel left out. He was convinced he was the last kid in his class to loose a tooth!

Now he cant eat corn on the cob, or say his "s" very well but he is a whole two dollars richer!
" I am Bat Tav!"
I had to add this pict of Tavin. Isn't he the cutest little bat man you ever did see!!

Fun on the river

Yesterday we were finally able to head down to the Arkansas river and just play and relax!
Waiting for Mclane to float down

Tavin never did get on the tube and float down, he thought he would float away!

Kenai the rescue dog! Mclane would practice his swimming in the slow shallow part of the river and Kenai would swim over and grab him by the trunks and pull him in, he even tried to grab him on the tube  a couple of times!

Break time!
Beautiful views

Me and my 2.5 boys!

Girls Camp!

After two relaxing weeks in Panguitch I flew home (Thanks to Ross and Cindy) for a day and a half to get ready for a week at girls camp!
I went to help with the YCL (Youth Camp Leader) Girls and I had so much fun getting to know them and many of the other girls from our stake!

This was taken on the last day and you can see it in our faces, 5 days of camping with over 100 girls was a lot of fun and a lot of work, but I would do it again in a heart beat....well in a year then a heart beat!

4th of July!

This 4th of July was one of the funnest the boy have had!
It started with Mclane getting to sleep out in G&G Fischers yard in a tent with Alex and Uncle Steve.
(both boys slept through the cannons)
After we got up and had breakfast mommy sat and decorated bikes for the boys to ride in the parade!

Off they go, Tavin was so excited to ride that he did the whole parade in record time so he turned around and did it again!
Mclane and Alex were a bit more content to stay with the crowd
Poor Alex was so nervous to ride but he bucked up and did it!!

That evening I talked the boys into the mutton busting part of the kiddie rodeo. Tavin was all for riding a sheep, until he thought about falling off after we said he could have a helmet he was ready to go again.
The after of Tavins ride, he was quite upset because after he fell off the sheep's foot caught him in the chin but after some loving he was ok!
Mclane needed a bit more convincing to ride but once he talked to his dad on the phone he was ready to ride. His ride went a lot better than Tavins and I think I may have a future bull/bronc rider!
Grandma waking back with my tough mutton bustin' boys
Later that evening we lit fire works in front of G&G's house till it was time to go watch the big fire works. Thanks to Aunt Meggie for bringing tons of sparklers for the boys to run around with!
I think they enjoyed those more than the fire works!
Hope everyone else had as fun a 4th of July as we did!
