Happy St. Patrick's day!

We had a fun St. Patricks day this year! Mclane was so excited to get dressed in his green and get to school, his class had set a trap for a leprechaun and he couldn't wait to get to school to see if they caught one!

But before school we had a visit from a tricky little leprechaun that turned our oatmeal and half our muffins green!!!

Later when I took Mclane to school I wish I would have taken my camera all the kids line up outside the door and they were all peaking in the window looking for the leprechaun. but what they saw was gold coins left on all their chairs!!

The boys got into some plastic cups and spent most of the evening stacking them in towers!

And as I have had a few requests for pictures of the "bump" I had adrian take a picture of me! Not very big but big enough to have to make the move into maternity pants!!
We hope every one had a fun St. Patricks day also!

Sock Hop

Tonight At Mclanes school was the annual Sock Hop, a fund raiser for the school!

The kids got to go to school in their 50's clothing, and later teachers, parents and students went to the school for dancing, games, and food!

Last week Tavin and I went and helped decorate the halls. (Tavin Loves to help decorate the halls at the school) So when it was time to get ready he had to put on his "guitar" shirt to match!

What are your evenings like?

What do your evenings sound like? are they  nice and quiet, or maybe soft sounds of children quietly playing together, or are they more like our evenings....the loud sound of "Dad Lets fight!!" 

I thought I would share with you all what I listen to while I make dinner most nights!

It's been a while since I have posted anything on here and to tell you the truth, we haven't done a whole lot! The boys are still enjoying school and growing like weeds, Adrian is busy getting things in order to get out of the army and I have spent a fair amount of time not feeling well!

But I do have a few pictures of the boys and thought I would share them

I think Tav must be going growing, he has been sleeping a lot. The other day I went down stairs and here he was sound asleep with his milk propped up on both bunny bears!

Mclane is always creating and drawing and the other day he drew a pirate ship and then wrote what it was! he is doing better every day with his reading and now writing!

The ominous pile of Legos he comes up with some of the most creative things to make!
