This week I have my nephew staying with me, I thought it would be fun for Mclane to have someone to play with for a change. But I didn't think of my sanity in all of this. So far it has been a lot of Mommy he did this and Shanon he did that. I hate tattle tails, now all they want to do is to go to Grandmas I would love to send them but Grandma and Grandpa are at work so I am stuck with whinny boys. The good news is that two out of the three are asleep Tavin is having his regular nap and Mclane fell asleep on the floor. YAEE for me!!
Last night I went to a Mary Kay party. I planned on going just to support a friend and ended up walking away with about two hundred dollars of stuff. Some I won in a raffle but the rest I was suckered in to buying, I am pathetic.

So having Alex wasn't so bad. He and Mclane got along pretty good (for the most part) But the best thing that came out of all of my head ache was Mclane decided that he didn't want to be a baby any more and had decided to potty train WAHOO!! We are still having a few accidents but more successes and who knew he is a good aim.
The timing couldn't have been better since Pre-School sign up were today, So I got Mclane signed up for school this fall. Happy and Sad. I need a few days away from him a week but sad because my little boy is getting so big!!

Last weekend our whole family went up to Park City and Heber Vally to see Thomas the Train.
Since most of the kids birthdays are in the end of May and flirt of June we always have a big get together and party. This year the Heber Vally Railroad was having a day out with Thomas so that is what we decided to do. We stayed in a hotel in Park City and let the kids play in the pool then we got together in the lobby mom made six little cakes so that all the kids with birthdays cold have their own cake with candles to blow out. (shes the best). The next morning we went over to Heber Vally Railroad. There were lots of things for the kids to do Mclane got a Thomas sticker tattoo on his cheek. ( it took four days to get it completely off) There was a tent full of things to buy and Mclane got a James train. There were all sorts of model trains to see, one made of Lego's, one that was the kind my dad had when he was a kid, and many many Thomas and Friends sets. One of the funnest things to see was all the old trains that you could climb in and look around. Then came our turn to ride on Thomas, the excitement I saw in Mclane was more fun than anything. Even Tavin enjoyed the ride.
Later we went into SLC and went to the Planetarium and watched a movie about stars and planets in the Imax dome. it was interesting Mclane went from awe and wonder to scared to death, it was kinda funny.
When all is said and done it was a tireing weekend with lots of driving but well worth it to see how much fun Mclane had.
